We warmed up including with the Kodaly exercise, tackling the ‘tripletys’ and some tricky off-the beats! Good exercise! Wrabler Rehearsal Notes 13 October 2015 Venue: Linklaters. Chair: JB Attendees : JB, DC, SE, KM, MM, RM, MS, WT, LS Apols: DD (convalescing), JL (has meeting) 1 Warm up & Useful exercises. We did scales counting up and down in increasing sections, then inversely in two groups. Good for concentration on timing and pitch. We were better at it at the end than the beginning. DC led some throat relaxing exercises, including a graphic tip of imagining singing while chundering. Engages the belly muscles, apparently. Very useful. We decided not to collect for charities at 12 Dec gig, nor to invite people to give to charity, but to leave it up to our audience to do as they see fit with the goodwill we have hopefully generated.

Wrablers Rehearsal Notes 3 Feb 2015 Venue: Linklaters. 1 Silk Street EC2Y 8HQ. Arrive by 6:45 for 7pm start Chair – JB Attendees JB, JL, WT, RM, SE, MM, DD Apols: DC (in Australia), KM (in NZ), LS (with parents hip op) MS (with babies due to train delays re parents’ babysitting) So, we were a small group! We did a round of the Ha Hee Ho Ha game as warmup and we’re getting better! We sang Koloi Ya Elijah as a blending/timing exercise. A fine example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
