Rob has taken on the job of allocating parts in songs (since Dec 2025), as well as directing us, so the main responsibility of Song Sponsors is to keep their Song’s page up to date. The Song page should contain: 1. Parts allocation – kept up to date 2. The score or scores as pdf. Where there are more than one, a note about which one to use, if it matters. 3. Notes from Wrablers Rehearsal 26 May 2026

This was an unusual rehearsal in many ways. There were only 6 singers, and no Rob S. The plan at this late date was to sing any songs that we considered needed work. There was no warmup, the girls had spent 30 minutes from 18.30 practicing their songs, and Peter and I are super fit. The chairman had emailed a suggested list of likely problem songs and we basically worked through most of the list. Rehearsal Notes 2 June 2026 We did walk through the staging of the first 5 songs. It was the first time so of course we will get slicker. We didn’t sing the first 5 songs in gig mode – instead we worked on them as we went along. We are starting to get scratchy and irritable in the run-up to the gig. Peter made the observation that at this point we shouldn’t be expecting perfection, but striving to do our best, which is plenty good enough for a performance.
