Louli-as-chair Report Report from first the Tasting session (not on minutes which go onto the website)We were joined by 4 Tasters who were given a warm welcome, copies of all songs, name labels and an induction conversation with Max. 3 people came via the leaflets in the Community Centre and were known to each other, the 4th Victoria came via Peter. 1 left in the first half. 2 enthusiastically stayed on and joined in as they could, including with Dance moves and said a friendly goodbye at the end before snacks. Fun rehearsal with six singers, very good to have Rob S back with us. Music all round generally sharper. Spent 15 minutes of “warm up” song Tourdion: Singing went well. Havana: Rob tightened our phrasing throughout. Especially bars 42-49. Dance: singing went OK, Rob asked basses to pronounce “ts” background more from the abdomen than the mouth. There was no actual body percussion practice; Rob S was asked, and agreed to allocate singers to group 1 and 3 and that we all need to learn group two. In the break, LS and PV practiced group 2. Wrablers Rehearsal Notes   04.08.26 Chair: JB Attendees: JB, SC, RM, CS, MR, PV Apols: RS, WT, LS, PS, MX So, we were 6. Robin warmed us up with one of his inimitable creations. Warm up song – Route 66 – Sang through a couple of times. Delicious harmonies getting tighter. Altos found it easier to hear where we were going wrong without the Sopranos there to distract us!
