Wrablers Rehearsal Minutes 18.08.26

Fun rehearsal with six singers, very good to have Rob S back with us. Music all round generally sharper. Spent 15 minutes of “warm up” song Tourdion: Singing went well. Havana: Rob tightened our phrasing throughout. Especially bars 42-49. Dance: singing went OK, Rob asked basses to pronounce “ts” background more from the abdomen than the mouth. Rehearsal Notes 7 July 2026 – AOB proposed change to main gig pattern

Rehearsal 7 July – Marcus chair Dance! Gonna be a nice challenge, but glimmers of possibility. Thanks to Josh and Alex for getting us started on body percussion. Java Jive Ok I think, some finessing expected from Rob in due course. Havana Ok I think. Route 66 Homework needed on women-men call-reponse sections. Tourdion Introduction repeated *7* times in total, with staggered entry bottom up, sops joining for the last 2. Verses, pipe up when you have words, down when you don’t.
