Rob has taken on the job of allocating parts in songs (since Dec 2025), as well as directing us, so the main responsibility of Song Sponsors is to keep their Song’s page up to date.
The Song page should contain:
1. Parts allocation – kept up to date
2. The score or scores as pdf. Where there are more than one, a note about which one to use, if it matters.
3. MP3s of all the parts, and any additional MP3s if needed.
2. Note of any errors in existing music or lyrics.
3. Note if the song has been transposed up or down, and where to.
4. Note of the arrangement (if not as written) as performed in the relevant gig. This really helps when we revisit songs.
Song sponsors should remind singers to annotate their sheet music or lyrics sheets with Rob’s instructions during the rehearsals.
Song Sponsors are responsible for the staging of their song when the time comes.
