Rehearsal Minutes: 4th Feb 2014 Apols: DD Rehearsal shortened due to tube strike. True colors : progressing, but needs rejig to address high notes for sops (and tenors). Show me? : Re: proposal to amend words and melody Bar 29 from ‘show me’ to ‘show’. I (MM) registered my objection, with details to be circulated – at end of this email. Man of constant sorrow: a good start, all singing the right notes in the right order, but some were prone to galloping off across old Kentucky, while others were singing the notes in full. Resulting in having a much smaller body of work currently advanced enough ready for the coming gigs.
