We ran through the songs for the Penge gig (Blue Skies, Sloop John B, You are the 1, In this heart, May I suggest, When will I see you again, Java Jive) and we really really needed to do so. My apologies for the misunderstanding. I thought we had more time at Robin’s for polishing and a proper run through. But time is very limited on Sat.

1) Penge (Sat 20 Sep)
We decided to do a run-through as soon as most people have arrived. Please keep Robin up-to-date about arrival on Saturday so that we can decide when to start.
a) Dress: Men: Black trousers, White ironed shirts; Women: Red dress
b) Food: Please email Robin what you bring (preferably starters) so that he can fill the gaps. NO Mushrooms, nuts, raw onion or row garlic
2) Xmas gig (Sat 29 Nov):
Kathleen updated that there are 150 seats and we can enter the hall at 6 pm at no extra cost. Kathleen will email how much each one owes her. Start thinking about dress.
3) Xmas bash in Vsauxhall (Sun 14 Dec)
We were invited to join as last year with about 4 songs.
Clear vote in favour of taking part in the event. Kathleen away and Wendy unsure.
4) Next rehearsal 30 Sep at Link Laters.
