Warm up: ahem, ahem we started 7.15pm as only 5 of us were there, but good use of those first 15 mins by certain peeps and great patience by others, thank you

Louli suggested we felt (hands on each others back) while singing blending notes. She has a couple of blending exercises she’d like to try out next rehearsal
Java Jive – really lovely considering there were only 8 of us the time.
Duan Nolig: (2nd outing)
Wendy went through pronounciation again – Wendy – send lyrics sheet as attachment to all, thanks
Dynamics – loud on Highra Bannag etc (as this is a jolly song about hairy bannocks) and softly on the Ma na noola sections as this is about something else
Duncan suggested going ta ta ta instead of saying words to get the correct rhythm which is a little tricksy in places

Money Money (1st outing)
Change of wording in chorus section to include Always funny – see below and also attached are lyrics

Sang most of the way through with the key change and was passable
Duncan specifically got us to sing phrases in a staccato like short way
Some question as to whether piano will be present or not or playing softly
Have yourself a Merry Little C (1st outing) – small gp
Bass and Tenor parts are a bugger as are all Du Du sections.
What needs to happen now – Wendy – make slowed down recordings for parts ( tenor one was very helpful)
Duncan played piano for Alto part and it sounded sweeter than at the beginning of the evening.

Son of P (3rd outing)
We worked on the call and answer of yes he was / was / he was / yes between the men and women – very dynamic when it works.
As this is the 3rd outing and unlikely to sing before 12 Oct all day rehearsal = Practice Practice

1. Kathleen has booked Unity Hall from 7-11pm on Sat 28th November for gig
Kathleen – find out if we can gain access from 6pm and how much more the cost
Kathleen – give us bank details so we can put dosh in their and let us know final amount each
2. Robin will send details about 20th gig in Penge.
3. Jill – Xmas bash of community choirs on Sunday 14th Dec. Same format last year, starts earlier. Vote next rehearsal on who would like to do it
